Services
We provide services to understand AI, identify and select suitable AI use cases, and guide our clients during the implementation phase.
Awareness & Understanding
For executives it is often hard to cut through the noise and gain a realistic understanding of the potential and limitations of AI and advanced analytics. In our awareness & understanding sessions we work with executives to give them the necessary tools and the mental frameworks that allow them to take informed steps towards AI adoption for their organisation.
Together with our partners we have a variety of formats to draw from like keynote speeches, half- or full-day workshops and trainings, or promptathons.
For a more in-depth managerial training on how to leverage AI in your organisation our partners have developed an extensive training curricula in the form of a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) and Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in AI Leadership, Management and AI Transformation.
AI Design Thinking Workshops
Design Thinking is a fast-paced, semi-structured and creative process to collaboratively find novel solutions to existing business problems. The workshops typically last around three days and are led by a team of two or three trained Design Thinking facilitators. Participants - typically a team of managers and business domain experts - are guided through a series of tasks to brainstorm and validate business ideas. The workshops are structured in a way that pushes participants out of their comfort zone and think out of the box. The result is not only a fun and highly engaging experience for everyone involved, but participants create a set of concrete and validated business ideasy for real business problems that the senior management can pursue further if they so wish.
In our special AI-based Design Thinking Workshops participants familiarize themselves playfully with a variety of state-of-the-art AI-based tools that they can apply in the future towards their own personal or professional use.
Beyond solving existing (non-AI) business problems and getting familiar with AI, however, our workshops are usually targeted specifically towards the identification and validation of AI use cases for the organisation itself. The workshop's result then cosists of a list of validated AI use cases applied to the real business problems of their own company.
Use Case Identification & Selection
We help our clients to develop a systematic approach to AI use case identification and selection. Depending on whether the client intends to disrupt existing business processes or to incrementally improve them we may employ different approaches to find suitable AI use cases.
For those just about to start their AI adoption journey, besides brainstorming and ideation workshops, we may also systematically screen a client's processes to identify potential to relieve an existing pain point. We help the client to formulate a project proposal for a proof-of-concept or a minimal viable product that is ready for the client to implement.
For companies already more advanced, typically the problem turns into one of portfolio management for AI use cases. Typically, a combination of bottom-up and top-down portfolio steering is required with a mix of both incremental and disruptive AI use cases plus foundational work. We help our clients to formulate a corresponding AI portfolio steering approach.
Implementation
We have >15 years of experience with building and running enterprise-grade, data-driven AI and machine learning solutions. This encompasses all lifecycle stages from ideation to production, end-to-end. It is worth highlighing that on average data-driven AI and analytics solutions have a higher degree of complexity than traditional software solutions due to their strong dependency of executable program logic on underlying, continuously changing datasets.
Depending on our client's needs we provide different services, for example:
- Technical trainings for software architects, software engineers or data scientists on how to build and run AI and machine learning solutions end-to-end, including topics such as MLOps and LLMOps best practices.
- Analysis of existing business processes, IT landscape, and definition of requirements.
- Formulating a project proposal for a proof-of-concept (PoC) or minimal viable product (MVC).
- Project management for AI and analytics projects consisting of internal employees and/or external providers.
- Deployment & rollout, user communication and user trainings.
We are collaborating regularly with our preferred software implementation partners for PoCs and MVPs. However, ultimately our declared long-term goal is always to empower the client themselves.

AI Maturity & Ambition Assessments
Organisations that have already gained experience with a few, yet often disconnected AI use cases are challenged how to proceed from this point towards a more holistic AI adoption. For executives, this is a good moment to take a step back and perform a status-quo analysis in the form of an AI maturity assessment, and then compare this with their strategic ambition.
Our AI maturity and ambition assessment consists of a structured questionnaire. Questions address a variety of topics and domains around people, processes, and technology. Ideally, the questions are answered collaboratively by key stakeholders such as executives, business domain experts and senior IT professionals. We then analyze the responses and reflect back the results to the participating management team in order to create an engaged discussion and derive a more long-term oriented action plan.
Ideally, the assessment is repeated periodically to measure the gap between target ambition versus current state.
